Can you tell me a bit about your background and what you were doing before starting work with weeve?

Before weeve, I worked as a musician, event & communication manager, graphic designer as well as UX Researcher. I'm driven by the connection between technology and creative work, and being UX & Product Designer at weeve is the perfect marrying of the two things.

Even outside of work, I take an interest in new technologies and innovations and love learning how they shape our society, industries and even our environment.

Can you tell me a little bit about your role?

As UX & Product Designer I am part of the cross functional team and responsible for the experience of the weeve platform. This includes discovering customer and user needs, creating and testing concepts and prototypes and defining product requirements.

I am also supporting the rest of the team with my visual design expertise.

What do you enjoy the most about your job?

The team is really great! We all have mixed backgrounds and even come from many different countries. For me, I think the best ideas happen when you combine different opinions and experiences. Also, as I said before, I am very deep into the technical side too, which can be a challenge sometimes, but it's the best learning process.

Upcoming/recent tech you are excited about?

Quantum Computers — so we can leave the space of binary.

What is your advice to designers starting in a similar position?

Even if you are the only designer in your team, you shouldn't design by yourself. Design is a collaborative process and you should never stop advocating for it.
